Who am I ?
Hello my name is Joana I have been a Sports therapist since 2023 and I have been active in my field ever since. I have experience in volunteering at the London Marathon, Fisiokorpus Madeira Island and I am currently a sports therapist at Nadia Silva physiotherapy. I am a person who radiates warmth and empathy in every interaction. I listen attentively when my client speaks, showing genuine interest in what is being shared, and always offer a kind word or gesture. My actions are driven by my passion for my work, going out of my way to help others, whether through small acts of kindness or providing support during challenging times. I'm well known for being patient, understanding, always offering a sense of comfort and reassurance.
Outside of my work I am a musician I have been playing the flute for 17 years and I am currently taking improvisation classes for the piano.

How my group classes work
All classes are led by myself, first contact, help and care, I make sure that safety is your priority and I work around your pain and find the best ways to help you with your musculoskeletal pain. I correct you verbally or I move you to correct your posture, you will improve your technique, learn more about your body, which muscles you are working. along this important health journey to a better version of yourself. I have equipment suitable for all age groups. I'll train with you for your physical and mental health and I'll be your friend. feel free to talk to me. My classes usually last 1 hour. 10 minutes of warm-up, 40 minutes of exercise and 10 minutes of cooling down and stretching. Sometimes I go a little over the hour. Whether you want to exercise to relieve pain, work on your mental health or just to maintain a healthy lifestyle, this is the right place.
